Where is the MiniMBA?
The MiniMBA takes place on campus at the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce in Bangkok, Thailand. The campus is located close to the vibrant Huai Kwang and Rama 9 areas in central Bangkok.

How much is the MiniMBA?
The MiniMBA is a 1-2 semester certificate program in cooperation with Thailand's leading private university. Tuition fees are 5,400 EUR per semester.
The MiniMBA is for everyone who wants to gain a deeper understanding of business, especially those from disciplines such as engineering, law, IT, design, education, medicine/health, architecture etc.
What are the semester times?
The MiniMBA semesters start in early September and early March and end after about four months each. You can choose to do one or two semesters. Please apply at the latest four months in advance.
How can I find accommodation?
Our team will be in touch with you before you arrive in Bangkok to understand your accommodation wishes. Bangkok offers anything from affordable dormitories close to university to fancy studio condos downtown.
Is the MiniMBA in English?
The MiniMBA is completely taught in English except for an optional Thai language course. Bangkok is a very livable city without Thai language skills; however, the more Thai you know, the more local knowledge you will gain.

Logistics
Importance of international logistics management for international trade, logistics planning, material management, delivery, procurement, packaging, distribution, supply chain management and important organizations involved in international logistics.
Entrepreneurship
Structure of entrepreneurship in international business, specifically in planning and controlling related organizations, strategies, problems and barriers encountered operating a business internationally. Practice in writing business plans and study through cases related to international organizations or companies.
Project Management
Project Management focuses on equipping students with advanced skills in planning, executing, and overseeing projects within various industries, emphasizing strategic decision-making, risk assessment, and effective communication within project teams.
Accounting and Finance
Roles and responsibilities of foreign exchange market, international monetary systems, limitations on foreign investments, international source of funds, foreign exchange risk management, working capital management.

Strategic Business Management provides a holistic understanding of contemporary strategic business management in terms of how, between an organisation's resources and capabilities, customers, competition and the dynamics of the global market, firms can achieve a sustainable strategic advantage and above average returns.
Consumer Behavior
This course provides insights on how and why people behave as consumers. Topics include factors influence buying decision, model of consumer behavior, analysis of consumer behavior from the points of view of psychology, sociology, anthropology, and economics.
International Human Resource Management
Strategic Business Management provides a holistic understanding of contemporary strategic business management in terms of how, between an organisation's resources and capabilities, customers, competition and the dynamics of the global market, firms can achieve a sustainable strategic advantage and above average returns.
Data Analytics for Business
This course will expose you to the data analytics practices executed in the business world and explore the analytical process, how data is created, stored, accessed, and how the organization works with data.

Is the MiniMBA a master program?
The MiniMBA is not a master program, it is a certificate program. At the end of each successful semester you will be issued a participation certificate. Not only will you show future employers and business partners that you have a great foundation in business, but you will achieve it at the fraction of the cost of an MBA which usually cost tens of thousands of EUR.
How much will it cost?
Tuition fees for the Bangkok MiniMBA are 5,400 EUR/semester. In addition, you need to budget for accommodation, travel, health insurance and your daily expenses, such as food, clothes, going out etc.
Do you offer accommodation?
In Bangkok, we work with private dorms close to university and help you arrange a room. You are also free to book your own accommodation, for example through Airbnb. Lastly, you can stay in a condominium closer to the downtown area.
When should I apply?
Applications are open 9-4 months before the semester starts, i.e. January-April for the semester starting in September and July-October for the semester starting in March. The earlier you apply, the better, as you will need time to pick the right courses, apply for visas, book your plane ticket etc. For late applications, please check with us per email if there are still spots available: uncle@unclepolo.com
When does the semester begin?
Fall semester usually starts at the beginning of September, while spring semester usually starts at the beginning of March.
Do you offer airport pick-up?
You can book an airport pickup with us for 200 EUR, but it will be much cheaper for you to simply find your own way. We will give you all the necessary information before your arrival. If you want to be picked up, please tell us so by email: uncle@unclepolo.com
Is there a dress code at the university?
In Bangkok, students are required to wear a white shirt or blouse and black pants or skirt. Sneakers are fine.
Do I need a visa for my semester abroad?
Thailand requires full time students to enter the country on a student visa, which you will apply for up to 1 month before your planned arrival. Student visas are usually issued for 3 months at a time, so you will have to renew the visa once in country. In the meantime, make sure that you have a passport that is valid for at least 6 more months after you finish your MiniMBA semester(s).
Can you help me find an internship?
We can help you find an internship in Thailand according to your needs and interests. These internships should be of semester length, i.e. ca. 4+ months. Please let us know at least 6 months in advance, if you are interested. Please also note that internships in Thailand are usually not paid and you will have to enrol as a student in university for legal reasons. This will incur ca. 4,900 EUR tuition fees.
