Join our Seoul K-pop program in Seoul Hongdae to experience the Korean capital in the most K-pop way. Our school is located right in Hongdae area about a 3 minute walk from Hongdae subway station.

 

Hongdae is the main university area in Seoul. It is known for being vibrant 24/7 and full of young people from all around the world. There is an abundance of shops, restaurants and bars and it is close to downtown Seoul and the Han River. Hongdae ranks high for places to visit for anyone who loves Korea, in other words, you could not find a better place to experience Seoul.

Our Seoul K-pop program is for anyone who wants to gain a deep understanding of Korea, its language and culture and, of course, K-pop. After we pick you up at the airport and you check into your accommodations, your adventure begins. You will be learning Korean language and culture on weekday mornings. In the afternoons you will take K-pop singing and dancing lessons or do some sightseeing and cultural activities. The weekend is reserved for excursions around the city. Main program language is English.

How old do I have to be to participate?

Students can be as young as 12 years old, however, anyone under 18 has to come with a legal guardian.

What is included in the price?

The price includes airport pickup, accommodation, language and culture lessons, excursions as specified in the itinerary. It does not include any items not part of the program, such as your plane ticket to/from Korea, your personal expenses, meals unless part of the itinerary, medical travel insurance, wire transfer costs etc.

How many people will there be in my group?

The program will only start if there are at least 15 students. There will be 50 students at the most. For the purpose of Korean lessons you may be inserted into already running classes according to your level.

Can I earn university credit?

We will issue a certificate of study for the Korean language lessons after the program, it is up to your university to recognize it for study credit.

What type of visa should I apply for?

Most students' home countries will have visa free agreements with South Korea so you will only need to show up in Korea with your passport. Some of you may need K-ETA which you can apply for here. Please check here and let us know if you have to get a visa to travel to Korea.

How do I pay for the program?

After you have decided to participate in the program we will send you an invoice which will be payble by international wire transfer within a week.

Do I need insurance?

All students are required to bring medical travel insurance covering the duration of their stay. 

What are the accommodations like?

You will be accommodated in good 2-3* hotels in the Seoul City area, at the most 15 minutes on the Seoul subway from the school. You will be sharing a twin bed room with another participant of the same gender. There will be a breakfast served every morning at the hotel. If you want a room by yourself, the single occupancy surcharge is 500 EUR for 7 nights.
