Whatever your reason may be to learn German, in the end all language skills are communication skills. Our live online German course aims to make you a competent communicator in German with a focus on your speaking. We achieve quick results by teaching live one-to-one lessons with native German speakers only. Instead of bogging you down with complicated and incomprehensible grammar lessons (of which there are many in German), our lessons are all about getting you to speak German fast.

All our classes are online, live and in real time and all of our teachers are native speakers of high German, which is the standard German that news anchors will speak on German TV. The course is 100 class hours long (35 min of class + 5 min of computer setup, internet timeouts etc.) after which you will be able to confidently communicate in a German speaking environment. It is especially tailored to the needs of students who hope to live in Germany in future, be it as university students or in a professional capacity.

How does a lesson work?

You and your teacher will meet on Zoom at an appointed time.
The teacher will remind you to turn on the recording feature.
The class begins focusing on speaking, listening and pronunciation.
Use your class recording for self study, listen to it like a podcast.

FAQ

Can you help me reach B2 level quickly?

Our course focuses on teaching spoken German and thereby acquiring a true feeling for the language. Studying with us, you can reach spoken B2 level after about 150-200 lessons of 35+5 minutes each. If you want to prepare for the DaF exams, please let us know, we will arrange exam preparation lessons for you.

What are your teachers' qualifications?

All of our teachers are native German speakers who have been trained in our method. We pick our teachers according to their level of standard German (Hochdeutsch), professionalism, motivation and educational background (university).

How much does the German course cost?

You can book lessons in sets of 10 at 85 EUR per lesson. The price drops to 75 EUR per lesson starting from bookings of 100+ lessons at a time.

What is a live online language course?

Live online means that the classes are taught by a real life teacher using Zoom. Every lesson is a private lesson between one student and one teacher. Our quality control team may join classes randomly for quality control purposes.
