Whatever your reason may be to learn German, in the end all language skills are communication skills. Our live online German course aims to make you a competent communicator in German with a focus on your SPEAKING. We achieve quick results by teaching live one-to-one lessons with native German speaking teachers only. Instead of bogging you down with complicated and at times incomprehensible grammar lessons (of which there are many in German), our lessons are all about getting you to speak German fast and get a real feel for the language.

All our classes are online, live and in real time and all of our teachers are native speakers of high German, which is the standard German that news anchors will speak on German TV. The course is suitable for German learners with at least a A2 level and consists of 40 lessons (50 min per lesson, 4,800 EUR) after which you will be able to confidently communicate in a German speaking environment. It is especially tailored to the needs of students who hope to live in Germany in future, be it as university students or in Ausbildung.

How does a lesson work?

You and your teacher will meet on Zoom at an appointed time.
The teacher will remind you to turn on the recording feature.
The class begins, focusing on speaking, listening and pronunciation.
Use your class recording for self study, listen to it like a podcast during your commute to work or next gym session.

FAQ

Can you help me reach B1 or B2 level quickly?

Our course focuses on teaching spoken German and thereby acquiring a true feeling for the language. If you have no previous experience learning German, we recommend booking a course that will train you up to A2 level, for example at the Goethe Institutes which you can find worldwide. Our speaking course will supplement what you learn with real life speaking skills so that you can hit the ground running once you arrive in Germany.

What are your teachers' qualifications?

All of our teachers are native German speakers who have been trained in our method. We pick our teachers according to their level of standard German (Hochdeutsch), professionalism, motivation and educational background (university).

How much does the German course cost?

The standard course costs 4,800 EUR for 40 sessions of 50 minutes each. You can book lessons in sets of 10 at 120 EUR per 50 minute lesson after you have finished the standard course, should the need arise.

What is a live online language course?

Live online means that the classes are taught by a real life teacher using Zoom (or another appropriate online conferencing tool). Every lesson is a private lesson between one student and one teacher. Our quality control team may join classes randomly for quality control purposes.
